This is disturbing beyond all reason. I was always under the impression that WF was one of the biggest ones AGAINST GMO's and they did "extensive" research to make sure that they were NOT in their products. Every time I was in CO I would swing in to stock up on their supplies. I guess anymore, you just can't trust anyone. Just when I feel like thing are starting to work in the right direction, something big like this comes in and derails it all.
Monsanto is the root of evil. No one has convinced me otherwise. They are evil in its purest form.
I am boycotting those companies! I've been wanting to get a greenhouse to at least grow my seed-saving plants in.
I love Bountiful Gardens booklets. One is about how to maintain genetic diversity while saving seeds. I studied beekeeping and have thought to have a hive whose bee door I can open either to the out-of-doors, or into a greenhouse.
You can do something. Sign the petition for Truth in Labeling. This, if put in place will effect the way people shop. Money speaks! Scroll down to the bottom and click on the link right after the words "circulate this petition widely"
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it's a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they're terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
