Yeah. I know what you mean. I don't have any of the white processed stuff on hand either. Nowadays (I have to confess), if they need baking at school I just stop at a bakery if I get a chance. lol Then I don't have it hanging around the house. hee hee
Thanks for your reply. I hear ya on the sending clean food to kids who will not appreciate it and the only reason I'm trying to use clean sugars is because that's all I have on hand. Selfish reasons only, don't want to make a trip to town. Lol I'm thinking I will just make a oatmeal base cookie and just add coconut, flaxseed, sunflower seeds and raisins. Simple easy and quick;)

Sucanat can be replaced in sugar at a 1:1 ratio. Agave can be used in place of honey at a 1:1 ratio. Best Baking Wishes! What are you making?
Also, when I have to send baking to school, I usually just use plain old sugar. If the kids were actually eating CLEAN at home, I would use cleaner ingredients. But the cost of sucanat and other ingredients are really expensive. I would feed it to anyone who ate clean and/or appreciated it. But the sad truth is that most of those kids will go home, eat Kraft Mac & Cheese and they, nor their parents could give a HOOT!
