How do I plan my week?? With lots of healthy food in the kitchen and lots of hope! After than it's anything goes!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it's a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they're terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I don't really follow a specific cooler plan. I plan my meals around my protein, then add veggies and a complex carb.
The first thing I do is look in my fridge and freezer and decide what has to be used up first. I also have a look around the produce department to see what is in season and on sale.
I usually only plan one or two days ahead of time. I shop frequently to get fresh produce.

I'm new to clean eating and really want to do this badly.

I live a very hectic and busy life.

How do you plan your meals every week? Do you use the cooler plans?

Do you take a shopping list and buy what's on it every week and then prep as much as you can for your meals?

I have counted calories in the past with great success but had a very difficult time sticking with it due to time constraints. I want this to stick for life.
