To answer ASLBETHANY, I was on many routines BEFORE my vacation. I was eating every two hours and going to the gym four days a week. I lost inches and didn't pay attention to the scale. I am slowly shaking the fall and climbing back onto the wagon.
Thanks everyone for the response.

I just invested in Power 90, but more than anything else, this time around, I have my husband and kids on board. I also have my health. I know I will have that beachbody by my 25th anniversary next year!!

I have all of Tosca's books, countless videos, and 2 sets of weights. I do need to get a band and a 5lb ball but that's my 30lb reward. I have lost 20lbs since June 6th. Don't give up. it will work. Just have patience. I know it's difficult to stick with it when your working your butt off and no weightloss but...remember that the number on the scale does not matter. Try measuring yourself, waist, arms, thighs, ect... and then in a month measure again and see where you are. The scale always would make me give up but I have started using my measuring tape and I realize that sometimes, i am gaining muscle(which weights more) but losing inches.Good luck....You can do this..we can do this together. emoticon

I have most of those gadgets but I prefer a brisk walk in the park to any of them, and so does my dog, Lenny!
I have my treadmill for indoors.
I think it depends on how often and how well we use those things. Gotta find what works for you and have a good routine. Consistency is the key.
I'm finding the older I get the more stubborn my body is getting though.

I have a Wii and several exercise 'games', a balance ball, a Bender Ball, hand weights, resistance band, band 'weight' machine, cook books, an Eating Clean lifestyle, SparkPeople, a weight loss buddy and an inground pool in my yard. When I use them they work. I'm getting a handle on my new eating lifestyle and I know what is is right amount of indulgence...and I know the same for my exercise-what is not enough, doing a variety so I don't get bored and doing it frequently.

I hit a new low on Friday and then a little over half the weekend I did poorly on my eating. I'm back on track today and although it will take all week to re-lose these couple of pounds I will do it and I will continue to lose.

Do you have a routine with your meal planning or your exercise? Do you work out often? Do you get bored easily or are you doing a variety of activities? Do you count calories or watch portions or do anything special when cooking/eating?

Wishing you success!

Good question!
I have lots of things around the house to exercise with but prefer to go to the gym.

I need to work harder on the eating but it is hard when you are the only one of 4 that is really into it.

I would have to say that I love exercise and if it were not for that it would be a harder time.

I also have a few things I cannot eat and eating out is a real challenge so I do not do it much. That one really helps.

Overall I really have my ups and downs. Right now I am way off on the eating and this week need to plan more. I need to have things ready to eat and not so many things that will take time to prepare.

How many book, dvd's and stuff do you have to lose weight with?
I have 10 dvd's, 4 diet/cook books, a bean, a stability ball, weights, bands, and the Sparkpeople site.
Tell me why I can't lose weight with all this?
is your's working for you?
