If you take 1 cup of steel cut oats the total calories are 680 (1/4 cup dry =170calories)

Divide that by 6 servings = 113.33 calories per serving

I make Bob's Red Mill Steel cut oats in a batch. 1c dry oats 3 cups water. It makes about 3 cups worth (6- 1/2c servings). I only can find the info for the oats in a dry measure.

I'm trying to figure out what the nutritional info is for a 1/2 cup prepared oats. Can someone please check my calculation? I'm taking the 1/4 c dry multiplying it by 4 then diving by 6.

It breaks down like this:

1/4c dry oats times 4 divide by 6

170 cal 680 113
3 fat 12 2
29 carbs 116 19
5 fiber 20 3
0 sugar 0 0
7 protein 28 4.5

please let me know if it sounds right to you!
