If any of you cool team members haven't had the chance to look at websites that are active in promoting healthy food and farming then I really want you to go to these websites and sign the petitions and even donate money if you can. Our health depends on us being involved even if it's just clicking on a petition so your voice can be heard by government and food producers.
Our food supply has been eroding for many years because of profit and uneducated, blind unhealthy farming practices. You can help turn this around and protect yourself and your kids and grandkids.
Help keep our access to clean foods. If they're not available we can't eat them.
Here's one website worth looking at: www.foodandwaterwatch.org/
There's lots there to ponder and educate yourself about and if you click on the "take action" button you will be able to sign petitions. You can also sign up for email newsletters that will keep you on top of what is happening.
It's so easy!
There are other websites like that
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
