I only just tried sushi about a month ago. I was actually surprised; it wasn't as gross as I thought it would be. But, if I went out to eat, sushi most certainly would not be on my list of places I would like to go.
I am pretty much willing to try just about anything and we went to a sushi bar and let me just tell you I left there thinking I was going to PUKE everything up. It was sooooo nasty! I know that those nuri rolls (or whatever they call them) are supposed to be good for you, but GAG! EEEEWWWWWW!!!
My mom used to feed us beef liver growing up. YUK and Double YUK, won't ever touch the stuff ever again. Now that I am studying nutrition in school, I totally understand why she did it though. For EVERY vitamin and mineral I have studied I have to list the food sources. Organ meats is ALWAYS one of the sources. Thank you but I will get those vitamins and minerals from other sources!!!!!
Believe it or not, but I cannot stand the smell or taste of it. Never have liked it. I used to gag as a baby when my mom tried to feed me some. Needless to say, not liking chocolate my WHOLE life does not make me skinny. I'm a salty/crunchy person.
I used to hate beets, too, but I tried them again a couple years ago - and now I like 'em! Go figure! I've read that your tastes change about every five years - so maybe there are some things you should give another try...
Although I really love beef/deer/elk liver, kidney and heart, I guess most other organ meats are yuck. And pigs feet? Absolutely not!
I'm just saying... Kelley

Oooooohhhh, I love beets, saurkraut, sushi... I HAVE eaten squirrel, and do NOT recommend it! Beef tongue and liver are unbearable. My least favourite food is pretty much anything super overcooked! Oh ok, anything at my mil's house.

liver (mom made some in Germany years ago and it was horrible-not her fault though). Green bell pepper's, menuedo(how ever you spell it)-in good in there. Just gross no matter how ya cook it. Most canned veggies.
