Hmmm... I don't take any prescriptions. Even when they are prescribed! LOL! Unless it's penicillon or an anti-biotic...
I take a multi-vitamin, a calcium chew with vit. D, an anti-oxidant (blueberry, pomegranate & mangosteen), spirulina, omega-3 fish oil
As I said in another thread. Spark and FDA's recomendations for daily vitamin intake are only a MINIMUM so as not to become ill or "deficient". In other words... the recomended daily allowance of vitamin c is what everyone should take as a minimum so as not to cause an outbreak of SCURVY. It's REALLY hard for your body to get too much vitamins. There is no evidence that supports claims of getting gall or kidney stones from too much vit A or C.

I know that you and many others on this team are big believers in supplements rather than pharmaceuticals....I am relatively new to using supplements and am concerned about going overboard. But do any of you have suggestions for what to take for depression...is there anything OTC (over the counter) rather than a prescription? We have a teenager who has recently been diagnosed, and would love to not have to take a pill. Any ideas?
