There are several brands of naturally evaporated cane juice. I used one today called "Rapadura"

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I've baked with sucanet and used occasionally to make hot chocolate. I like the taste... and I've gotten away from sweeteners enough that a lot of things (agave nectar, honey) taste too sweet to me now, so I'm having to learn to use less when I do use them.

Yes, non-refined sugara cane... I purchased it in the bulk section at my HEB, but haven't used it yet.

Yes, it is a sweetner. I bought some a while back for one of Tosca's recipes but haven't used it yet so I can't tell you how I like it. According to the package it is "simply dehydrated, freshly squeezed sugar cane juice." "Use as a 1-for-1 replacement for refined sugar."
