I'm reading this today, and I have to say WOW i never imagine that Spinach and Cabbage had that amount of calcium. Great information, thanks for sharing

I have to wonder why - if oranges have so much calcium - do they make OJ with calcium added?

I really love spinach and I eat almost everyday. It has ALMOST the same as a cup of milk. emoticon

Who knew that a cup of cabbage had more calcium than a cup of milk? Thanks for posting. I love these vegetables, so I should be doing well.

I personally love my milk and yogurt, but many cannot (or will not) have it. So, it is nice to know that there are other sources for getting your calcium!

Milk, skim (1 cup = 316 mg)
Sesame seeds (1 cup = 702 mg)
Flax seeds (1 cup = 416 mg)
Cabbage (1 cup = 380 mg)
Collard greens (1 cup = 266 mg)
Spinach (1 cup = 245 mg)
Orange (1 cup = 104 mg)
Kale (1 cup = 94 mg)
Broccoli (1 cup = 62 mg
