I added the recipe. I didn't know you could make your own almond milk. I will definitely try this! emoticon

I've created a recipe for Almond Milk that might work for the cookbook. I didn't see Almond Milk in the cookbook. However, I saw plenty of recipes for it at SparkRecipe, but none as simple as mine. I use this every morning with my cereal, and it is delicious and vegan.

Re: the Won Ton Soup, you might be right about why the sodium numbers are calculated so high. I only buy organic, low-sodium broth or use homemade. I'll edit the recipe. Also, I've calculated the number of servings to ensure that there are at least 2 cups of veggies in every serving. Its a recipe I adapted for The South Beach Diet, afterall.

That's great! I've added the recipes... BACON isn't really clean, but it there isn't much in the recipe and maybe it could have something like naturally smoked, nitrate free turkey bacon subbed in instead...

Also, the WON TON SOUP looks delicious! I printed it out to try some day... And, I hope you don't take any offence...but I wonder why the sodium is so HIGH? You only have three tablesppons of low sodium soy sauce... I think it is because of the vegetable broth... There is LOW SODIUM broth and soup stock available. I am also wondering how BIG those bowls of soup are? LOL! I think you can maybe get at least 2 more servings....

Anyhow, I added it to the cookbook, and if you want to edit the recipe, I believe it would still be in the cookbook.

I'm glad you SHARED your recipes! Thank-you!

No. The 1/3 cup oats goes into the blender... then you add the 1 1/2 TBSP of oats goes in after. It just gives the pancakes some texture...
I had them this morning; they were YUMMY!

In the Banana/Oatmeal Pancake recipe it list 1/3 cup oats and then 1-1/2 tsp oats...Is the 1-1/2 tsp. supposed to be another ingredient (maybe baking powder)?

OK, Mary... Here it is...
I cleaned up the cheesecake recipe. It's not too sweet. When you have been eating clean for a while, you don't really need all that sweetness anyhow...
I used bananas in place of some of the sugar...

They are good. Just be careful adding the water. Too little and they don't hold together... and too much and they get gooey. Start with 1/4 cup and go as high as 3/4 cup. Mine usually take a little over 1/2 cup of water...
Also, I use a little stevia to sweeten mine.No calories and natural. The first time I didn't care for the taste too much. But, now I think they taste fine. Stevia is an acquired taste.

Hi, Mary. I don't see splenda in the recipe... unless you just subbed it in.
It doesn't look too clean. I'm sure this recipe has white sugar.
You know what though, Mary? It wouldn't take too much to clean up this recipe. Cane sugar, egg whites, and something different than a cookie crumb crust. I printed it out; would you mind if I gave it a make over? I will SHARE when I'm done.

Also, I have to say, that it is WONDERFUL to have you SHARING your recipes! That's what this team is all about! emoticon

Yum, Mary! I added those and PRINTED OUT BOTH of them too! LOL!
I also found this recipe.. but the nutritional content is WAY WRONG. I plan on making it ONE of the days! LOL! And, re-submitting it. But, it looks delicious, and clean (I'll figure something else out for the cookie crust; maybe just some granola in the bottom of the pan)

This was YUMMY. At my house, we LOVE Bison, Turkey and chicken. We rarely eat Beef. It took me longer to prep this than the recipe states, because it was the first time I made it, and honestly, I wasn't organized with all the ingredients before starting.

I added the Moussaka. I also want to try that one... Mmmmm.
Three grain Tabouli also looks good.

Last night I made the Three-Grain Tabouli out of Clean Eating magazine . . . just preparing all the grains took some time, and I know one of them (not sure which one) was not quite cooked enough . . . the overall flavor is tasty so I'm going to tweak it before I post it in my cookbook.

I tried the Moussaka from this month's Clean Eating magazine. It's a little time consuming to make, but it's really good! Depending on how you like your food though, I might recommend a little less cinnamon and a little more oregano. The recipe is in my cookbook, which you can link to from my Sparkpage.

Actually, I got the salmon recipe from YOUR cookbook, lol, and I made it tonight (thus tried and true). It was yummy. The salsa and tabouli I made up as I went along tonight. The plate (clean) was beautiful!!

LOL! I ALREADY had the Balsamic Glazed Salmon one in there! I love balsamic vinegar; I bet it's real yummy with the honey... I added the others, also!

I have started my own "clean eating" cookbook. The link is: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/cookbooks.a
sp?cookbook=98389. You are all more than welcome to take some of my recipes. I have created a couple, and tried a couple others.

All the recipes I put in the cookbook will be tried by me! And the recipes I put in myself will, hopefully, include pictures by yours truly!

It's been a while since I've added recipes to my spark cookbook; however, I tried this new recipe today from Clean Eating Magazine and thought I'd share it with everyone.

Sorry, you should be good to go...

I did see the Oxygen Magazine recipe that was similar but the amount of protein was so little in comparison to this one. I cannot eat eggs due to an allergy so getting protein from other sources in the morning is really important to me. This one tastes so yummy!

I've added the recipe. Looks good. Good to use the stevia. That's funny, I had put in a pumpkin pie oatmeal recipe also. But, I got it out of Oxygen mag. It is a little different.
Oh. I just noticed. I went back to look again at the recipe, and it looks as though it has been marked private. You just need to go EDIT the recipe, then make sure bothe the boxes at the bottom of the page are marked. Then click SUBMIT
