I don't weigh myself but

I got weighed by my trainer last tues
I had lost 7% body fat and gained 3.3 lean muscle pounds
a total weight loss of 12 lbs

I get weighed again by my internist in 2 weeks

I don't like to weigh myself because I have used it in the past as an excuse to be negative or an excuse to eat badly.

It is better for me to be around health professionals when I become aware of my progress in either direction.

I am down 0.1 lbs. I think this is great as I've gone over calorie range for the last several days.

Because of You Tube restrictions, I think all the videos are 10 minutes or less. Combine them to make a 30 minute workout.

I agree with Twelvetofive. You may want to change up things a bit. I'd mix the cardio up a bit. If you always walk try a different style of dvd or class. After a while your body gets used to the exercise you do.

I was doing the same lose/gain cycle until I started mixing up my workouts. I do Tae Bo, BL Cardio Max, BL Bootcamp and Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds dvds 6 days a week. Using a different dvd each day, 6 days a week.

Hotmama, It sounds like you need to change up your diet and exercise routine. If you have cereal or oatmeal evreyday for breakfast, hace fruit, or a smoothie. I love to use bananas, cinnamon and skim milk, mix it in a blender, no sugar needed. Do you weigh yourself at the same time, every time? I always weigh in the morning, before I eat or drink anything, after I have used the bathroom. I also noticed at my time of month , my weight seems to go up 5 pounds. i hope these tips are helpful to you!

i seem to be stuck loosing and regaining the same 5 pounds. what am i doing wrong? i start thinking that this is going to be the time that works but then i loose hope. HELP

In am back down to 187. I gained four pounds two weeks ago at my son's graduation so though it doesn't looklike I have made progress I have.

I used to get upset with my flunctuation with one or two pounds. But now I try to look at the whole picture. I started in the 170 then I was in 160's and no 150's. As long I I stay away from the previous bigger number I am OK.

GNG2LZALLOFIT, increasing the veggie intake is a great idea. emoticon You could also add more fresh fruit. Apples seem to hold me quite well. Whole grains help also, along with making sure you eat a hardy breakfast. emoticon Just keep at it. Tracking your food with the Nutrition Tracker will help you determine what's missing.

Good job everyone!

I've lost One pound. That was REALLY hard to do. I am struggling with my calories. I seem to be hungry constantly. I need to up my veggies but have been lazy about that.

I need to get the ball rolling before I get discouraged. I joined the challenge a little late so I am hoping for at least 5 pounds.

Ok, everyone is losing but I am up about 4 lbs this week. I hope its just that tom coming around here. But I know I did a little cheating a few beers while watching the wings game and that led to some snacking so I will try to be better this week.

Mscandace~ That happened to me too! I got the BLC scale, I ended up with 10 pounds more than the other (dial)scale! I figured this on is new so must be more acurate and started going by the new one.

well I did my weighin today but I bought a new scale and it a digtal one and It puts me at more then what I weighed on the old scale and my old scale broke because of the kids so im starting over with my goal and hope that i can get to lose at least 5lbs before the month is out

New scale show 210 and thats after eating and stuff for the morning and waiting about 2 hours My old scale had me at 195 so here to starting over........

The principle is competing against yourself. Its about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before.

I bought the new "biggest loser" scale and I hope it will be delivered today! Can't wait. It tells you your percentage of body fat, bone weight, calories needed for your weight etc.
