Feeling much better today, I actually ate real food and not soup. Had some Special K Fruit & Yogurt Cereal. Spent the morning going to get my oil changed in my car and making jello and putting some fruit in tupperware to keep in the fridge for fast grabbing. Also, been doing laundry so I've been really busy this morning.
Going to try maybe going for a walk/run tonight if I feel up to it but I'm definetely going to the pool for a bit of a swim...if the weather is nice. It's supposed to rain but hopefully not till later tonight.
Thanks for all the well wishes, I did feel guilty about not exercising for a few days...but when you're sick you're sick. Oh well...I learned my lesson. No more junk food.

take it slow and easy getting back in the groove. try some tai chi or oigoon and that is very slow and not hard on the body at all. best of luck to you

I hope you are feeling better. Take your time getting back to excercising and eating solid foods. I had the same thing a couple months ago. At first I though food poisoning so I went to my doc but they told me it was just a stomach flu that comes on fast and only lasts a few days. I hope that's all it is in your case, even though it's no fun it's better then it being something else.

Take care of yourself. This too shall pass. I got sick Palm Sunday weekend. Hadn't had the flu in years. I was hoarse for over 4 weeks. Sounding better. I pray you'll feel like your usual self soon.
God Bless.

I was sick earlier this week. I know it's frustrating, but this is about taking care of yourself better... not beating yourself up because you're not "doing what you're supposed to" right now. When you're sick, especially not being able to keep anything down, you need to rest and recuperate.
Take care of you!!

At this point you really do need to take it easy. It's good that you're drinking Gatorade and chicken soup, you need to replace the electrolytes that you lost. And, boy, when you're not feeling well nothing tastes better than chicken soup. And it's pretty healthy to boot! Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon.

Hi, sorry you have been sick, that is a terrible way to loose weight but unfortunately it works usually for me, just not very fun. Sorry you have been sick. Hope you are feeling better now, it's Friday 8:38 PM California time. Where do you live? Get better, Linda

I was sick too. I missed a few days of exercise. Do what you need to do and don't feel guilty about it. When you feel better, we will all be here. =)

Well this started Thursday morning at 1am. We ate at 9pm, I had some cookies that I shouldn't have ate because it started a whole thing. At 1am I got up to throw up and it didn't stop till 6pm last night. I wasn't able to even keep water down. Today was much better I could keep things down but my stomach was still sore from throwing everything up even if there wasn't anything left. I've at least been able to keep chicken soup down and gatorade. I don't think I'll be able to exercise for a few days depending on how I feel and my strength is. I'm still weak from not having hardly anything to eat. I'm hoping I'll be back in the saddle by Sunday.
