Good morning all, it has been five days and even though they are a little sore, I am going to try a little walking. I did do extra strength training and a little gardening, so lets see how this feels today. Thanks for all the support. Time to get my focus!

OUCH! I'm sorry it derails your physical activities, however it could work for you. You now have time to read, find fun recipes, catch up on pesky paperwork, sit on the beach or a pier - do some fishing... Whatever works for you to get some mental stimualtion and simultaneous R & R. You might be surprised at what feeding the mind and soul will do for the body! It's an opportunity. Make the most of it.

I am so sorry this happened to you! I agree with what everyone else has said-take it at your own pace. Feel better soon!

Yes, my plan is to try to maintain weights and bands and the ball if I don't put to much pressure on the foot. I am so used to 40 min power walks that I have all this energy beginning to pin up already.

You could focus more on the upper body and the pilates moves

Oh I feel for you. I broke a pinkie toe from stubbing it and it hurt like ..I had to limp around for awhile and it really messed up my golf swing. There's Nothing you can do for it either but tape it to the toe next to it and I thought that hurt more. Good luck and try to do everything except jump on the poor broken things. Good luck.

Depending on the position of the toes and the type of wrap, you may still be able to get your cardio in on a stationary bike. What ever you do, don't trick yourself into making excuses...that can lead to a LONG downward slide! You can do it, girl!!

Thanks all for you replies. I am going to continue my strength training and even did the bands to this mornings Boot Camp. So I guess I will just incorporate several of the videos to make my 30-40 min workout. Considering I stand all day with work, I just don't want to be miserable. Thanks again and have a great weekend.

I'm sorry to hear about your injury...movement of any kind would help I think, as long as you don't aggravate your injury. Hope you heal quickly! Lorraine
They say it is better to be poor and happy than rich and miserable, but how about a compromise like moderately rich and just moody?

I agree that whatever activity you choose to keep up your cardio should count. Remember, some people have limitations where they have to adjust their choices all the time.
Sorry about the toes!!

Sorry about the broken toes. I've never had that but curious couldn't you still do the upper body workout and even the resistence band ones? Again, I am ignorant where broken toes are concerned.

So I had an incident while strength training yesterday and broke and jammed 2 does. Their was not way I was going to be able to do my cardio for the day to maintain my Boot Camp. I may be out for several days. Is doing extra videos count in any way?
