To mix things up, I do my Wii Fit, I go to the gym and do the treadmill. Now that it's warmer, I'll be getting my bike out and tuned up for the season, just to give me some more variety in my exercise routines.

I just did a 30 min FREE workout on exercisetv.tv. They have a bunch of free full length videos to do. The one I did kicked my butt! Here is the link...

Have fun!

I've been doing alot of walking lately in the park across the street, which has a few hills, but the thing that i've noticed really gets my heartrate up is stair stepping outside my house at a very fast pace. I try to do at least 2 minute intervals stepping up with my right foot, then change with the left foot for 2 more minutes. These actually burn more calories than I thought they would.

Do you have a Wii Fit?? There is some great cardio there....I like the running challenge. Also, I think others have listed these next few, but I feel they are worth repeating. C25K podcasts....coolrunnings.com is fine, but there is better music on Motion Traxx (iTunes - free podcast) (my favorite episodes are the Fitness Mag Bikini Body Intervals). And, even though these videos are seriously old, I still love TaeBo! Loved the idea someone else gave of hula hoops, I was thinking jump roping too. Good luck!

I really like the 10 minute solutions DVD series. I buy the pilates and yoga ones (but they have others more cardio orientated) on Amazon. They are not very expensive and I like them because you can mix them up, do 1 or 2 different 10 minute workouts to keep it fresh. Recently I stumbled across the Ravi & Anna Kundalini yoga DVDs, which I also like, but are probably not for everyone.

I like to walk and hike,
I love yoga but it doesn't burn many calories.

I have a belly dancing video that I love too

I like to do the Leslie Sansone Walk away the Pounds videos. They go by really quick, and you can choose how far you want to walk. On my DVDs I have written how long each video is, so if I'm limited on time, I know what one to grab. The main reason these are my go-to cardio workouts is that I don't have to leave my living room, and I can keep an eye on the kiddies!!

I have tons of workout videos - Billy banks taebo amped - the firm - p90x - you name it I probably have it. But the all time favorite is Turbo Jam. Don't spend a fortune - you can find them cheap on ebay not the nightly ads.

But Turbo Jam is like a party. I love it - I even take it with me to work since I am a flight attendant and do the workouts in the hotels. It's like dancing but combining the workout moves - hope this helps.

My favorite video series is from The Firm. It's not free, but there are like 4 DVDs and the variety and results are good. If you have cable you may also have access to free exercise videos (yoga, aerobics, dance, pilates, kickboxing, belly dancing....everything). I have Time Warner and all of that is available On-Demand.

Netflix has many exercise videos available on instant play. Of course they also have ones that you can get on dvd, but you have to wait for those to come in the mail so they're not nearly as easy to use.

You might want to check out You Tube for Billy Blank's Tae Bo videos. There are several different series of them on You Tube and it is very close to the kick boxing that SP has.

There are some aerobic/cardio workout programs on tv early in the morning. Or if you have DTV there is the Fit channel. These are good because normally they are rather short.

Have you thought about dancing? I don't ever dance where anyone can see me. Sometimes I will go out in my garage all alone and just dance like a fool. I know it's not a pretty sight, that's why I don't let anybody see, but you work up a good sweat and your heart gets pumping.

For outdoor walking, seek out steep hills- you get A LOT more cardio at a fast pace on a hill than on flat. And it's great for toning thigh/butt. The less you lean into the hill, the better the work out.

I also do yard work, the kind that works up a sweat. Heavy house cleaning can also be counted. So, if you haven't vacuumed under the living room furniture in a while or move your stove to clean under and behind it (refrigerator too), you get the double benefit of a clean home and cardo.

I get bored real easily, so I like to do different things. I would check into jumping rope - I get my heart rate up faster doing that than anything else I have done and I seem to burn twice as many calories that I do running. It has worked for me. I really love it!

I don't know if you have on-demand or not, but with Fios, if you go to on demand and then go to browse all, go down to MyLife and they have a ton of videos that they change up monthly - this month they have Jillian's Shred 1 and 2 - they have about 50 videos available for free to watch - ranging from quick 10 minute cardio boost to hour long videos. I am sure they also have this with Direct TV and Dish, maybe your local cable as well - not sure.

You might also try www.exercisetv.tv/ . They have some free workouts on the computer and they also have some you can download for only a couple of dollars.

Hope some of this helps!

Much Success!!

God Bless,

Dena

My guess is that you don't have access to a gym, but walking and jogging outside is always free. Good luck :)

I usually walk but it's getting where it doesn't feel like a workout. I walk with my dog so today when he stopped to pee, I do squats, lunges, walking lunges, pushups ended up on a40 min walk I did 2 sets of 10 of each!! Felt more like a workout!!

I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Hi! My favorite things to do are video-free. I feel very uncoordinated when I try to do videos, so I like to walk with intervals of running, swim, bike, or if I'm at the gym, stationary rowing. Also now that spring is here, I do a lot of yardwork. Good luck!

at our library, you can check out workout videos. You can see if yours has any to view?

I have the Spark Cardio Blast DVD...I use the Sp site and Youtube & Spark's page on Youtube to find cardio videos. I am getting burnt out on the same ones though. I need something different for a bit, preferably free of charge or little cost.....

Does anyone use any sites or recommend any good videos? I'm not into the "hardcore" stuff...I really like the cardio kickboxing that SP has. Even anything on Piloxing (cross of Pilates and Boxing).

Thanks.
