I use a HRM, so SP doesn't "calculate" my calories burned for me. It would be difficult to log ahead since calories burned vary each time I exercise. Even if I am doing the same thing each day, sometimes my intensity is higher than others. So, I log daily--really a couple of times a day. If I tried to log in advance, same as others have said, my "best intentions" would definitely outweigh the actual results! Plus, I kind of feel a sense of accomplishment logging my minutes and calories after each workout and see myself reaching my daily goal! It keeps me going!
