I want to thank SparkPeople from the bottom of my heart for starting this challenge.
This challenge has awaking the sleeping giant in me.
I was on a roll when I started in Feb of this year but I got a little too relaxed by April.
I went from weekly weigh-ins to “Hey I’ll check every month”.
Five days a week workouts to “Okay, at least I got in two workouts this week”.
Writing down what I ate to “I can have just a little bit of that and that, oh and that”.
How easy is it for us to fall into that old runt we became accustomed to and lose everything we worked so hard to obtain.
But then, the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Challenge came right into my mailbox and sparked that FIRE back into me.
I have faithfully followed the challenge for each day, I blog as much as I’m allotted to (cut me some slack I’m a full-time wife, mother, ministry worker and nurse….cook, babysitter, accountant, problem-solver….Ladies you know the many hats we where so you can understand me).
My goals is to make a 13 lbs lost for the month and/or 5 inches lost all over my body (weight don’t drop off me as much as my inches….and yes inches are better)
I’m looking to be the winner because the $500 can go towards my new wardrobe
Even if I don’t become the top winner I’m still grateful for getting back to the routine that will keep my health and exercise a priority for my life. Thank you again
