You know I love the short video's. I sometimes do two, because they are short. I think if I put in a video that I know is 45 minutes long - I get to relaxed some where in the middle. This is great and short and I tend to complete them better. Good luck to all.

Wow you ladies are wonderful. What movitation!!! Thank you all for sharing your stories.

I also started in Feb of this year and I have been faithful tracking my food but also eating what they suggest on the menu and I find it fills me up and I don't miss the meats and snacks like Ice Cream, potato chips, etc etc. I find I eat more fresh fruit and Veggies and so far I have lost 13 lbs. I was walking the dog 1 miles 2 times a day but also doing some core exercises like squats, side towel bends etc. Than I started with the exercise bike and also the treadmill. I started riding the exercise bike 30 minutes a day every day and left the treadmill behind. So I am happy with Sparkpeople because my husband and I were both trying to lose weight and the fat just seemed to fall off him but me???? no such luck.

But now thanks to Sparkpeople, it looks like I will be heading to the shopping mall for a big shopping trip for new clothes. Even my rings are falling off.

Oh yes I do also do the sweatsuit to swim suit and I am so happy for the challenge.

Good Luck Ladies and remember to also try a little music when you exercise. It makes the time go so much faster

I agree that these little short exercise videos is great! I don't mind them as I know they won't take long and I can feel them too as I'm using parts I don't normally. LOL I am also finding I like this exercise band and will continue to use it even once the bootcamp is over.

I, too, was coasting along and kinda slacking. This challenge has helped me find my center again. The exciting thing is knowing that there are thousands of us cheering one another on and pushing forward together. It is really kinda cool when I think beyond myself. I can hear everyone cheering me on...kinda a weird to explain, but this has been the spark I needed to take it to a new level.

There is NO Way I will end up in a hot looking swimsuit by the end of this bootcamp, I have over 100 pounds to lose and just got started.

But you know what? I'm doing it anyway! I feel good already having lost 7 pounds. This challenge is kicking my butt. It's getting me to kick my workouts up a notch.

Everything about SparksPeople is good. I am grateful to have been introduced to it.

Ditto. I love strength exercises but I add muscle to easily. I need to lose weight and I have always hated cardio. I used to play tennis and softball but now have bad knees, ankles and elbows so walking is my only choice. Thank goodness for Denise Austin and Leslie Sansone with their indoor walk videos. I'd be lost without them. I just hope to get back into the clothes I bought last summer.emoticon

I want to thank SparkPeople from the bottom of my heart for starting this challenge.
This challenge has awaking the sleeping giant in me.

I was on a roll when I started in Feb of this year but I got a little too relaxed by April.

I went from weekly weigh-ins to “Hey I’ll check every month”.

Five days a week workouts to “Okay, at least I got in two workouts this week”.

Writing down what I ate to “I can have just a little bit of that and that, oh and that”.

How easy is it for us to fall into that old runt we became accustomed to and lose everything we worked so hard to obtain.

But then, the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Challenge came right into my mailbox and sparked that FIRE back into me.

I have faithfully followed the challenge for each day, I blog as much as I’m allotted to (cut me some slack I’m a full-time wife, mother, ministry worker and nurse….cook, babysitter, accountant, problem-solver….Ladies you know the many hats we where so you can understand me).

My goals is to make a 13 lbs lost for the month and/or 5 inches lost all over my body (weight don’t drop off me as much as my inches….and yes inches are better)

I’m looking to be the winner because the $500 can go towards my new wardrobe
Even if I don’t become the top winner I’m still grateful for getting back to the routine that will keep my health and exercise a priority for my life. Thank you again
