I took yesterday off, and I will have to miss my cardio today too. I hurt my ankle yesterday morning and have been hobbling around ever since. I hope by tomorrow/Sunday I can make up for my missed cardio, and I should be able to keep doing the videos too. Wish me luck!

Back in the saddle! So far this morning I've already done the 10-min cardio kickboxing routine and the 10-min jump rope cardio routine for SP videos. When I get home I'm going to pop in Leslie Sansonne's dvd and walk for 5 miles to finish out my day.
I don't go to work till 1pm (leave at 12:45pm) but I still have my lunch to make and shower to take lol!
Since I started riding my bike to and from work last Sept, I've actually been afraid to take a day off!I'm so determined not to backslide to my old habits. The couple of days I've missed have been disappointing, but not disasterous. I compensated by walking. Now my plan B includes sparkpeople videos. It's taken me a while to get the hang of a more active lifestyle but you really have it figured out!
Wow! You are really doing a lot. You go girl! It's probably a good thing you took a day to rest so you don't get burned out. That's what I do-I do to much then I get tired of it & quit. So sounds like you've got it figured out...get right back to it to see results & remember how good you feel after your done & drenched in sweat

I've been going straight since last Friday. I probably biked at least 36 miles since then not to mention kickboxing, walking, plus my job. I biked to work on Tuesday morning but Tuesday night and yesterday my legs were sooo sore so I just took a day off. I'm going to have to do 3 videos today not to mention other cardio. I may do Nicole's kickboxing again, it's slow enough for me to follow but I sweat like a maniac when I'm done. When I was doing the stretches at the end on Monday...I was dripping sweat. Crazy.
Anyway, back on track after a small break. I'm excited though, my stomach is really showing some improvement so whatever I'm doing is working, but the scale hasn't moved...but I'm not worried about it because obviously I'm building muscle somewhere.
