Some things that are low in carbs are high calorie but I am doing okay with that. I am allowed 11 servings of carbs each day but I use them wisely. I have high fiber bread and pasta which helps me feel full.....and I eat an apple or a banana when I feel hungry between meals. For me it's just a matter of finding what I can eat that keeps my blood sugar from spiking. Lots of trial and error right now!
Habit is habit, and not to be flung out the window.....but coaxed downstairs a step at a time.
