Today do 10 squats, walking or stationary, at least once every two hours. I like the walking ones, as they make me think to keep my body in line.

So glad you are feeling better! I liked an idea from another team, do 10 wall pushups every time you go to the bathroom (either before or after). Give it a try!

Thru Sunday, October, don't have to do our exercise if we post on how each of us are doing! I have done o.k., but missed three days so far.

I so realize the challenge this month is difficult with everything else. Just keep going! 20 minutes doesn't sound like much by itself, but all my other challenges add up, plus the fact I am training for a 1/2 marathon and am on the treadmill and outside for almost three hours a day. What would I do if I worked full time for the "man" still? I am a fortunate woman!

Me again. My stomach is tender from doing all the crunches I have put out for my goal, in addition to other teams challenges. It's time to lose some more pounds, tho, and my fiancee is supporting my eating schedule. Protein!

I have been lax, too, with the measurements. The worse thing was my computer got a bad virus and had to take it to a professional to clean it up. Meanwhile, some changes have taken place on the site. That and my own stuff, but still exercising and slightly pushing myself. We can do this!

On October 5: Arms: 14 Chest: 43 Waist: 39.5 Hips: 45.5 Thighs: 26 Calves: didn't measure Weight: 194.6
Enjoy the moment: Set aside a few minutes every morning to make a promise to myself that I will find one good thing to be thankful for each and every day. It doesn’t have to be grandiose—even the simple things in life such a friendly smile or a beautiful song can bring us great comfort.

I totally understand what you are doing, and it is the most common and healthy way to do weight training, I am just putting out a challenge to help stregthen different parts even more. I have done it before and had good results.

Just checking about something. The way I understand this is that we're to focus on the upper body all this week.
My exercise program is Monday, Thursday--Upper body Tues, Friday--lower body, Wednesday, Saturday--core. By splitting it up like that I allow my worked muscles a time to rest and recuperate.
I'm just trying to understand the why behind working one part of the body for a full week.
Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
Goal 1--Memorize 1 Bible verse a week: Goal 2--Clean and organize home Goal 3--Lose 10 pounds Goal 4:--Pass HAM test

A new study from the National Institutes of Health found that the most sedentary individuals are 2.5 times more likely to develop dementia than regular exercisers.
