Another thing my mom and I do is take some peanut butter and some crackers along. That really helps if you need something with more substance that fruit. There are definitely sooo many different options to take along! :)

If I'm really organized I will bring veggies, fruit and some sort of drink. If I'm 1/2 way organized I bring a fiber-1 bar and a drink. If I'm way 2 busy I just wing it and hope for the best.

I guess the point is to plan ahead. LOL

Yes, that is great! What I love to do is take a packet of Shakeology along, grab some milk at a gas station, mix it together, and I'm done!

Yes plan ahead if you know and if it has to be fast food a salad without all the junk frsh veggies lowfat dressing

My mom and I end up on different road trips for chiropractors (about 3 hours) and we just got home from a different 3 hour trip. Normally we handle eating on trips pretty well (at least better than we used to now that we don't stop for fast food), but does anyone have ideas for eating-on-the-run?
