Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. It is called Black Friday because it is the day that retailers' budgets go from "in the red" to "in the black" catching up on profits lost all year.
On Black Friday retailers all over have HUGE sales and open very early in the morning. It is often worth showing up before they open especially if they are advertising something you really want to get...it can be as much as 80% off if you hit the right sales.
I am not sure where you are from but it is something that happens in the United States. It is a lot of fun to get a big coffee and get there in the wee hours of the morning the rush is amazing...especially if you go with a friend or family member. It is a real tradition for a lot of people.
I will be posting some websites which have some black Friday deals...if you are not in the US you can get in on them online probably.
Hope this helps!
