Since we are snowed in I am getting a bit of cabin fever. I haven't left the house since Friday. I am enjoying it but need some groceries soon. I have cooked about everything in the freezer since I hadn't been to the grocery store in a week due to illness. Thank God we have kept our power.

Today I'm feeling very good, I'm about to start on my annual one week "Prayer and Fast'. I've been preparing mentally and physically and will enjoy the time spent without eating as much as I usually do weekly. The excitement of Christmas it over, but I came out of it needing the doctor.I'm now back on the Asthma medication and incline to sleep,but I have to celebrate today with my oldest grand-daughter so I've got to keep awake and alert with the children around.

im feeling ok today, i'm trying really hard to change the way i eat. i woke up three weeks ago with a feeling of someting stuck in my throat so went to the doctors and now i gotta go for an endoscopy, because they say my reflux has gotten that bad. so i have given up my mountain dew and really trying to drink water or heabal teas, its hard to give up something that i;ve been drinking for 19 years.but i think im doing ok. head ache almost gone now. i hope that everyone has a wonderful day!!!!! and happy new year

I'm blessed and glad to be alive in a time like this ! the events of the pass month (the death of my mother, the passing of tropical storm Tomas and a short holiday )has indeed made me more grateful for all things. Loosing weight is no longer consuming me to be healthy is it.

I am feeling rotten today! STRESS! (My boss is being sort of a jerk....) However, rather than eat (which is what we all do around here), I stuck to my plans for lunch, didn't have extra snacks or go for the junk. So, when the day is over, I will be able to relax and at least know that I did not overindulge because someone else came to work in a bad mood.
And another valuable lesson...I ate over my calorie goal yesterday (didn't realize by how much) and my body definitely noticed the difference. I feel sluggish today, so I won't make that mistake again!

Feeling good that I have friends that are helping me to look out for my mom. She is on the west coast (so are my friends) and I am on the east coast. She lost her husband 5 months ago. They are the true meaning of good friends.

A little concerned.. My mum was hospitalised last night with Pneumonia,she is very frail and wants to be in her bed at home.This is a problem right now.
