I just read about 5 lunches that sound WAY better than what I eat on a regular basis. I usuallye eat soup for lunch. I pick the low sodium kind but end up adding a handful of salty crackers anyway.

I think for tomorrow I will take some baby romaine lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and honey mustard dressing for a salad.

I am mixing frozen mixed veggies with 1/2 c. chickpeas and light italian dressing - a sparkpeople recipe - and a whole wheat tortilla. Plus, fruit to eat during snack times.

Refried beans and fat-free American cheese on an Arnolds 100-calorie sandwich round. Also had 2 HUGE carrots - I usually buy baby carrots but they didn't look so good so I bought a huge bag of "real" carrots lol and have been peeling them and bringing them to work.

The funny thing is my kids think the big carrots are the novelty - BOY do I feel old!

I like my "quickie veggie soup" so I brought left over green beans & broccoli that I'll put into some Boullion (low sodium), plus a raw carrot and a Spicy black bean veggie burger on the side. I'm hungry & it's only 10:45 AM - so I have a bit to wait. Hmmm, maybe the carrot now?????

I made a salad for today with spinach and veggies and hard cooked egg. Tomorrow I had made meatloaf so I'm taking a meatloaf sandwich on whole wheat bun and an apple.

I had a Fiber One bar at around 11 today, so will have a late lunch (2 ish) of a Garden Veggie Burger with some steamed Vegetables. YUM~

Short day at work today, so I ate some scrambed eggs and veggies just now, and will take a granola bar for snack, when I come home at 1:30 I will eat lunch here, probably leftover tuna fettucini with veggies.

I brought left over veggies from last night's dinner and 3 oz. chicken breast chopped up (also left over from last night). I'll put these into a microwave safe bowl add some low sodium Bullion and warm it up in the microwave. I'll have a nice tomato & romaine salad too! I can't wait!
