Good morning all, Well done my workout this morning, Gona do the house work and then chill out and perpare tea for when the kids come home from school, Which is healthy and low fat, My son is getting fed up of the heakthy eating so every now and again i will make him a burger or something that will keep him happy, Keep chin up all, good luck.x

I will take controll over my body and lose the weight and then when i ever see my youngest daughter,s dad i will just walk right past and smile, I had his only Daughter and because i put abit on when she was born he left me saying i dont do fat woman and he as not even sin his daughter since she was 18mths old, She is now 5yr and 4mths, Well its his loss not mine.

Hi,

I get bad salt cravings from jogging outside in the humid South Florida weather.

I find that pretzel sticks are great and one portion is quite a few pretzels :). I also keep a bag of mini chocolate bars (Three Musketeers). Not only are they individually marked for calories, but they are also bite sized and it's easier to control your craving that way.

Hi there all, Afternoon, I like Jacket spud with cheese and spring onions or bacon, Well bake spud as you would, When cooked cut in half take all the spud out of the skins, mix to gether with the cheese and finely chopped spring onion or bacon which ever one you like, once mixed together place back into skins, sprinkle cheese on the top then place back in oven till cheese is melted, serve with salad or garlic bread, Easy to make and taste,s even better.Good luck all.xx

I am always on the lookout for low-cal treats to have in my emergency kit! I like those little pudding cups...lots of flavors and only about 60 calories.

I also love potato products. I "budget" a serving of mashed potato every other day or so. I love love love mashed potato.

You can eat just about anything as long as it is planned and portions are controlled.

You dont have to cut out all fats as some fats are good for you, There is being healthy and there is being to healthy, Take time to think about things first.x

If it's fat you are craving try nuts. They give your body the best fats.

I'm just agreeing with everyone else here. Your choices are to 1) PLAN for a treat, or 2) Crave the treat until you either finally eat it or don't.

Portion control is the key. Like fat/salty? A 100-calorie bag of chips, some pretzels with peanut butter, a small handful of nuts.

Fat/chocolate (w/ or w/o salt)? Reeses PB cup, Peanut M&Ms, Hershey's kisses, mini chocolate bars, (the possibilities here are endless ;-))

Fat/sugar - York peppermint patty, sugar-free jello with a little whipped topping, homemade iced coffee (or hot cappucino) with some regular milk (if you're drinking skim milk the regular will taste like heavy cream to you!).

Making a list of the things you crave might help you to decide - in advance (this is key) - what you will include in your day as a snack.

you can not stop eating what you love . just watch the portion that you eat . if you want french frys try to eat fries made in the oven . if that doesnt work then try to eat less of them . not the whole order . try a few . not five bars of choclate maybe just a forth of one . less ... like two kisses . try to little bars of candy if candy is what you want . but not cut it out all togther .

Hi there, Because your trying to loose weight or just try to be healthy you dont have to cut out all the things you love to eat, You can still eat them but just cut down on the ammount you eat, Lets say you crave chocy,s and you eat a full bar, well then your next crave say eat 3/4 of the bar, and then 1/2 the bar and so on till you only eat a bite, Do this all the time and it works, so then your not loosing out and also you daont eat as much.x

When I have a craving I know I can either have a small serving to satisfy, or try to deny and then I end up binging on the unhealthy item, also lots of water, i have even drank gatorade to solve the salt craving of french fries. A banana smoothie with a small amount of chocolate added helps with my chocolate craving.

I think the cravings will lessen over time. Maybe have healthy options available to munch on. You may be needing water after your workout - so start with several glasses and perhaps the cravings will diminish or go away.

Focus on your health most of all - you are worth it.

Hi everyone,

I need suggestions and help to keep off from a unhealthy habit of cravings. Especially after I hit the gym and come back home, I crave for something fattening like fries or sometimes for some crispy cookie chocolate. I m not sure what to do when I have such cravings cause if I don't have it when my body craves for it, it keeps coming back after 2 days and keeps coming till I have atleast a small bite. I need some healthy suggestions to put out such unhealthy habit and to move on to the next stage.
