Aw, don't be too hard on yourself! :3 Afterall, you're supposed to have more than 1 serving of certain foods a day... so most-likely you'll be okay. xD

Like I think vegetables is 3-5 servings a day? Can't remember the others right off the bat...

So, if the soup is 2 servings... well, you'll be okay. xD

It's funny how they do that. They make you thing you are getting a deal and the whole time, it's really nothing. Read carefully. emoticon

I mostly make my own stuff and freeze it; then it's done, good and I know exactly what I'm getting! emoticon
...and even then, I over-do it!

Anything that has to be packaged in 100 calorie packs is a no-no for me. I'd probably eat ten packs! emoticon

1/2 an apple...1/2 a bowl of microwavable soup...ridiculous. I've seen people (thin, svelte people) eat 2 cookes so I know to watch out for that - and, also, at least we KNOW cookies have calories (you know what I mean), but this serving size nonsense really annoys me.

Gosh, if I REALLY only wanted to eat half the soup I could certainly DIVIDE the number of calories in half...right?

Ridiculous. Only allows food folks to let us think the sodium in the soup and the sugar/fat in the caramel apple are in reasonable amounts.

I think I'd go ahead & eat the apple & skip my treat tomorow. That's better for me than being disappointed!!!

I bought a package of caramel apples (taffy apples) I did a quick check in the store of the nutrition (3 weight watcher points) and thought for a special snack I'd treat myself! Well - upon further inspection - the serving size is 1/2 an apple! Who eats just half???? Now I am sad - I won't get my special treat!

Thank goodness for the 100 calorie packages of cookies and other snacks. At least, then, I can eat the whole thing. Otherwise, it's really difficult to stay with the ridiculous serving sizes sometimes specified. As for the soup, the manufacturer is pretty clever. Most people would assume it's a one serving container.

We need to be attentive and take care of ourselves!

So I brought one of my soups for lunch today but didn't read the "serving size" ... now in my defense the soup is one of the microwavable soups in a bowl, so I thought for sure that it was only one serving!!! Its two!!!! Lesson learned! ALWAYS read the serving size! But honestly ... who buys the microwavable bowl soups and only eats half?

You must be the change you wish to see in the world ... Gandhi
