I made tuna salad the other day and put it in my flat bread and added lettuce - it was great. I only have found the original ones. I'll have to look for others. I want to try some new ideas like adding hard boiled eggs with light mayo on them. I would think anything works.

I love the new thin bagels both by Thomas and Sara Lee also. They are great toasted. I like Canadian bacon and low fat cheese for a hot sandwich and just low fat cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, and bread & butter pickles for a cold sandwich.

I love the flatbread wraps and the thinner new bagels by Thomas. For my flatbread sandwhich I usally spread 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese, grilled chicken and lettuce. I want to try a veggie wrap next week to see if I like that. I have tried the Italian, Spinach, whole wheat and plain. I love them all something different than bread and less calories than two slices of regular bread.

Bumping this..it's Spring!
Looking for new ideas..how about putting stir-fried veggies in the wrap? Tortillas are real good. I prefer the flatbreads (either ww or garlic-herb) but Flat-Out is real good..and they have diff flavors. Depending on the use, I may halve Flat-Outs. I love putting salads in mine..and I love to copycat Denny's Stir-Fry Wrap. Can't wait to get the garden in and hit the farm stands!
Any new ideas?

I love them with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Turkey, Avocado and lots of veges. I also grill a lot of vegetables (eggplant, zuchini, red, yellow and green peppers, asparagus) and put them in the wrap with some hummus. I also created my version of a greek one with tzatziki, kalamata olives, lettuce, grilled chicken and tomatoes (YUM)!!!

Wow, we need to start a recipe book of just wrap recipes! I love wraps and you can put almost anything in them. I like to toast them in the oven and use with homemade dips.

I have trouble finding the flatbread I would like here in Louisville.

But I have found small round ones. I have been using them to put Ragu alfredo sauce on (be careful how much you use for calorie sake) then grilled chicken from the grill. I add some green peppers and onions along with a little basil. Then toast in the oven for a few minutes.

This is similar to the Olive Garden grilled chicken flatbread. I can do it for lunch or dinner without using too many calories and it is delish.

Today's wrap - Damascus Bakery whole grain wrap, 1/4 cup Kraft fat free shredded 'cheddar' cheese, microwave about 40 seconds to sort of melt the cheese. Add mustard, 3 slices turkey (Dietz and Watson, 50 calories, get it at Costco), and half a home-grilled red pepper and some very thinly sliced red onion. Yum!

This would be a dessert for your lunch using a Brown Rice torilla from Trader Joe's. Cut tortilla into fourths. Toast all four pieces in toaster. Spread one tablespoon of almond butter from Trader Joe's on two of the toasted points. Spread one tsp. of sugar free strawberry jam or honey on top of almond butter. Top with remaining toasted points. Crunchy, YUMMY and good for you!

Ever since I read a blog (don't ask me who) about a fellow who lost a whopping 100 pounds by eating wraps, I've been inspired to include them in my daily diet. They really are a perfect way to control portion.

I like the high fiber ones from Costco. I usually wrap turkey, tomatoes, cucumber, some type of dressing, and always mustard. Lately, my favorite has been the Garlic Aioli mustard from Trader Joes's.

I use the Mission Life Balance whole wheat tortilla's. 110 cals, 4g fiber and 4g protein. I use these for breakfast burritos. I also use them for mexican chicken wraps. I spread them with FF sour cream, add roasted chicken, a slice or 2 of avocado, some lettuce, salsa or jalepeno's & sometimes LF cheese. Yummy.

My local Costco just started carrying Damascus Bakery whole grain wraps (make sure you look for the whole grain and not the regular - DH made that mistake last week). 110 calories and very tasty.

Today's lunch was a wrap spread with 1/3 cup hummus, sprinkled with 1/3 cup Great Northern beans, and topped with a grilled red pepper, and salt and pepper to taste. Really delicious.

Hi I wanted to put my input on flatbread wraps. I love them. I make all kinds of pizzas with them. I make regular with pizza sauce and lots of veggies, turkey pepperoni, etc. I also make buffalo pizzas with lite ranch on wraps with chicken chunks with franks hot sauce and butter topped with mozzarella cheese and more lite ranch dressing. Delish I also make mexican pizzas with refried beans meat cheese, cook then add lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa

Hi all - I'm a newbie here. I'm always looking for new ideas for lunch. I've enjoyed flatbread wraps with a little hummus spread on it and then lettuce, carrots, green peppers and any other salad items wrapped inside with a little salad dressing drizzled on top. I usually bring the wrap and the filling to work separately and assemble it here so it doesn't get soggy. Plus the foil I put the wrap in helps keep it together while I'm eating it.

I love these too! I entered the Flat Out Light Italian, and shared it to the database. I love these with black beans, olive oil and apple cider vinegar, garlic, green peppers, tomatoes. The tomato basil, multigrain, italian wraps, all good! Add spinach! These are very versatile. I'll sometimes eat them plain.

I love Joseph's flax, oat bran & whole wheat Lavash flatbread. It's healthy, delicious, and doesn't fall apart when you wrap. My favorite way to have it is with two slices of Thin and Trim smoked turkey from the deli, avocado and julienned carrots. The avocado makes it moist enough that you don't need mayo. Yum! It's my favorite lunch every day.
Oops. I forgot the secret ingredient! I sprinkle on Spike seasoning, the original blend. It's great on everything.

Chicken, tuna or egg salad works well on them. I like to bake eggplant, peel, then mix with garlic seasoning, or brush slices with lite Italian dressing, cut into julienne strips and wrap up with pieces of salmon or smoked whitefish. Also good with shredded cabbage, beets, and apples then drizzle with honey/molasses, maple syrup and mustard.

I like to spray my flatbreads (I like the regular rounds one-pref whole wheat or garlic herb) with a little bit of cooking spray both sides and toast/fry in a fry pan (both sides til slighly browned) then set a handful of salad on top (plain lettuce or add some goodies)..a little bit of salad dressing..fold up like a taco and eat. I find the bread helps fill me up and adds a little sweetness..and the salad speaks for itself. I also use them to make mini pizzas.

Hey Oregongrandma!!! Its SOOO yummy. I love garlic hummus. I know sparkrecipes.com and Tosca Reno's site for clean eating has a couple recipes to make your own hummus. Morningstar burgers are soooooo good :) That's awesome that you are learning to eat healthier! It's made such a difference in me

Karli: I will definitely look into that one. I like hummus (would like to learn how to make it myself). Also I have never tried the Morningstar Burgers; but I definitely will. I am trying to learn healthier eating...

I have the italian flavored one and it only has 90 calories w/8grams of fiber & 8 grams of protein and I spread 2 tblspns of garlic hummus, 1/2 cup spinach leaves and I bake a Morningstar veggie burger and wrap it up. SOOOO yummy w/tons of protein and fiber :)

Has anyone of you used the Flatbread Wraps? I am looking for ideas for them...I bought the Multi-Grain ones that have only 100 cal. and 17grams carb. plus 8 gr. protein...would like to use for a quick and simple sandwich...perhaps lite supper or lunchtime pizza. This morning I used one to wrap scrambled eggs, 1 oz cheddar, baby spinach leaves...nice. Now I want new ideas. Not available on Recipe Finder.

Your ideas, please...

Linda
