Hi, I am new here, just was told about this website a couple weeks ago. Am really liking all the tips and articles.
I am an administrative assistant and spend my lunch 1/2 hour eating at my desk and browsing the net, usually. It is too hot to walk in the summer here. I do work out most days, though. Just trying to get a bit more motivation and thought I would say hi!
Boy am I glad I found this team. I need all the help I can get. I have a bad habit of heading out for fast food at lunch! My boss brings in the tempting smell of fried fish and fries at least 2 times a week and I cave and go out to get something not good! Trying to be a good girl! brought a nice salad and vegies today. I could use all the tips for a tastey brought from home lunch! I am not allowed to do anything more than light cardio so that has made getting weight off a little tricky but I'm gonna keep at it! Blessings H
HI I'm Noreen and I just told my husband I'm getting bored with my lunches since it's the same thing practically every day. I could use some Ideas to make them more exciting. I don't want to get bored or I'll eat extra calories.

Hello! My name is Abbycsr and I've just joined the group. This is all new to me so if I mess up, please excuse me. I'm from British Columbia, Canada and have been told by my doctor I need to lose weight. Yeah, right. Easy for him to say. I need to lose a lot of weight. How to do it is another burden. So I thought I'd try through joining Sparkpeople. I'm a great one for eating emotionally since I've had a pretty bad upbringing and first marriage but I won't bore you with the details. So I'm a 61 year old female that is happily living with a wonderful man who treats me like a queen and doesn't find my obesity disgusting and says he loves me if I'm skinny or fat. How can I not love this man? We share 4 beautiful grandchildren and a dog that we rescued and life is good. But it could be better if I could just lose this weight. So that's about it. Looking forward to meeting people here and sharing tips.
