236 - Actually I weigh in each day, but I'm rethinking the wisdom in that because this week I have seen fluctuations with my weight loss ranging between 5 and 7 pounds. So at the end of the week with it settling at the 5 pound mark, I felt disappointed. The high weight loss is because this was my first week of using healthy habits - so I know that this will slow down. I once heard that the more weight that you lose in the first week of healthier eating habits, the more indicative it is of how poorly you were eating before. So maybe I should be happier with the 5 pounds. Oh well, on to another week of opportunities!

I was 159.5 on Monday. I weigh in either Sundays or Mondays. I kept 159 for several days last week so I'm hopeful that my set point can drop. I was walking a ton last week which also helped a ton. This week my walking is lighter. It's all in the schedule and the weather. It's all really up to me.

Sorry I have not Posted any weights lately, was struggling for a while with no results but have not given up and turned things around. Been on this site 90 days and it is going slow, keep telling myself slow is good. Have lost 19 lbs, that turns out to be about 1.5 lbs a week which is good. But the best part is the improvement in my Diabetic numbers, and cardio health. Doctors are happy, and I hope and pray that I have a new life style.

I've been back up at 160.5 all week. Well, sometimes I wonder if the best I do is to always be at this weight.

Good for you! I just finished week 5 and I'm still losing, but I know that if I get more consistent with my workouts and start building some muscle this will not be the case. I hope I can remember your positive attitude when the time comes that I can't believe the scale went up even though I was so good all week.

Walked out in the cold this morning, was about 28 out there did my 2 miles in about 40 minutes it was nice out there. Thursday 2/7/2013 is the day for my weekly weigh in , 195 up 1 lb from last week , It is also time to take the monthly measurements, Waist 41" down 2" , hips, thighs, stayed the same but saw a 1' increase in the arms, that means there is an increase in muscle mass, which I am told weighs more than fat, so the 1 lb pound increase in weight is ok. NO DISCOURAGEMENT HERE.

Jumped on scale this morning at about 0630 (1/31/2013) and it read 194 Lbs, that's terrific another 3 lbs for this week, need to keep going. That gives me a total of 14 lbs lost since 1/9/2013. Hope I can keep up this excitement even when I don't loose any for a week, I know that day is coming.

I'm inconsistent. That wonderful 1.5 pounds I dropped not only didn't stay down, but today I am a half pound even higher. And yet yesterday I was 160, so I'm vacillating the same few pounds all the time. What this translates to is the fact that I'm actually staying the same.
I'm up 2 lbs from my last weigh in here on 1/15.
