Well, I did my walk/run of 4 miles this morning and then tonight will walk 2 miles with hubby and 3 of the kids.

This morning I worked out for 30min (burned 300 calories) on the elliptical and this evening after dinner I'm going on a 4 mile walk with my dog.

50 minute turbo jam baby, and mowed the yard for 120 minutes. ON a tractor yes but all the while burning a good 500 extra calories. Ya! emoticon

Slept in a little bc my boys didn't have to be at school until later this a.m. Then taught hour spinning, hour weight training/body resistance and then took a 45 minute swim class. This is a heavy exercise day for me every week.

I bypassed riding my bike in to work today in order to carry a lot of stuff to my office. It was a fair trade.

I taught hi/lo aerobics and then a senior shape class. But I had all you can eat sushi for lunch.... I actually held myself back but I don't think I have any calories left for dinner! Not hungry for it either!

I like your new rule! Check out Shape or Fitness magazines' websites b/c they have short routines you can do. I use them all the time.

Today I taught spin and then body sculpting. Then I had my hour swim lesson and now I am exhausted! It is such a beautiful day that I am going to do some gardening.

I've started this new rule for myself: when I don't think that going all the way to the gym and back will leave me enough time to actually get a decent set in (forcing me to just stay home), I have to do some form of small workout.

So I've been pulling all of the at-home workout articles out of my Women's Health Magazines and saving them. Yesterday I did a SERIOUS lower body workout in 20 minutes. My buns are still sore!!!

Hey EllieT3 I was in OC also! I was there for the AFPA fitness convention and on Saturday night we walked the boardwalk and then went to Mackie's for a very long evening of dancing and weirdness! Very fun weekend. Hope you had as good a time as I did. I did buy an earring at one of the craft booths. My fellow fitness instructors got Thrasher's but I only had one which I was very happy about. Ended up not having dinner though...

I went rock climbing yesterday for 3.5 hours!! That equates to about 60-90 minutes of actual climbing! yay:) I also did a core workout afterwards in the exercise room:)

spent 4hrs at Fun Fest inOcean City on saturday and most of that time was walking around checking out all the vendors.Went in the food tent and only had a diet soda, no fried candy bars or funnel cake.Today the exercise bike and the chair dancing video.

I got back yesterday from a four day trip to Ocean City for a fitness convention. I went with three pretty wild women and we had a great time! Learned lots at the convention and then danced at bars all night! I am exhausted today but still need to teach two classes and then do a desk shift at a fitness center. Then schlep a son to guitar, make dinner and prepare for the rest of the week. Busy day!

I had fallen off the wagon for about 1 1/2 months but last week and the beginning of this one, I have cranked it out. Last week toget myself built up in endurance, I as pulling 45 minute cardio sessions. TODAY...1 hour. I didn't even realize that I had sweat glands on my forearms. All I have to say is this, "Sheeees Baaaaack!"

I am but one person. My goal for weight loss is for me. Those who like it and tell me so are just spectators. The show is really mine to sit back and enjoy.

So far I've been doing the SP Bootcamp workout videos each day (doubled up today because I couldn't do one yesterday) and a 30-min Curves circuit each evening. Doing much better with the exercise than usual...the food needs some improvement though! I'm either slightly over (not badly...a few points each) or under most days.

Usual Tuesday - taught hour spin class, hour body sculpting, and had a 45 minute swim lesson. It is my 2nd 6 week phase of lessons and she was much harder on me this week!!! Did sprint laps. I'm tired and neep a nap. I was going to go for a run while it wasn't raining (amazing) but I got my hair cut (really short) and I don't want to wash it again -- that would be three times today. I am not usually like that but for once not having to wash my hair is a good excuse for me to rest!

I overslept this morning, but pushed to get to the gym. I did my standard of 30 mins on elliptical mashine and 3 reps of 3 different core excerises. Then, rushed home to get ready for work. I was also able to get in 3 cups of water during that time! emoticon

yay guys! Congrats on all of the work you've been doing!

I went a little overboard this weekend, but it was great: I climbed after work for about 2 hours on Friday, did Martial Arts for an hour and then an hour of climbing on Saturday, and then climbed again on Sunday for 2 hours.

It was a good time and I spent all of it with friends, which made it even better. I'm planning to go running with my friend after work today.

I did my first half marathon, The TriColumbia Howard Lifr Festival. That's 13.1 miles!! I am very tired but not sore yet.

2013 Goals:
- lose 50lbs
-stay consistent in my workouts
-strengthen my recently broken ankle

2012 Accomplishments:
-cosistent training after healing from a stress fracture in my foot
-completed a 10 miler, 10K and a half marathon
-sorry my year ended in Maym 2 weeks after my half marathon when I crash on my bike shattering my ankle. I had surgery and ortho put in 8 screws and a plate.

Rest day from true exercise but I cleaned one level of the house including the floors and also mowed the lawn and did some gardening. It's hot outside! I also made a pineapple upside down cake, challah rolls, and sweet potato enchiladas for a Girls Night In event we are having tonight. A little yoga/relaxation led by my close friend, food and champagne. Should be fun. Wish you could all be here to enjoy it with me!

Today I ran from Georgia Ave and Colesville road, down to Military Road. It was a nice intense run, with some hills so it was worth it.. I am glad that I made it out and hopt to be able to do it again tomorrow..

I did 60 circuit/strength training and 60 minutes walking 3 miles. I started a 5 a.m. And finished at 7. What a wonderful way to start a day. My neighbor said,"Boy! Your really dictated" as I was walking back to the house.

Progress may be slow, but it happens!
No such thing as last place only finishers.
