Wow, months have passed, I am recovering from a mild stroke, and grateful to be alive.
i walk around Wilde Lake two times a day. The weather is ideal for my breathing but
i must still be very mindful about getting light headed.

Stay motivated!!!!! Do whatever you can.

SUN Feb 23rd: 142.5 (Okay now we're cookin')

I rarely come by to post here but am very active on Sparks elsewhere. Just know that I still consider myself part of this team and hope everyone is well as they absorb the weekend's wonderful weather! The rest of winter is working its way east...

About to go walking soon, I want to say that yesterday I got a LOT of walking in. I'm talking over 15,000 steps. Weather was ideal and I took advantage of two opportunities to get out there. Must rack what I can in now because our week will turn cold again. Last night's concert had tons of walking to and from the parking as well. I'm so happy.

Dinner out was low cal and wonderful. We went to a Peruvian restaurant in Rockville (about 50 minutes away) and ordered smartly. Then we went to a piano concert by Brian Ganz. We heard him here in Columbia last month and decided it would be worth it to go again. He's quite talented.

That's it for now. Mending my weary self - I eventually forced a return to sleep rather than get up in the middle of the night. Yes, life just has those up and down times.

I'm on a 10 day burpee challenge..started Feb 18 at 55 burpees (add 5 every day). Also on a 10 day, 10 set challenge of squats, pushups, situps (started that on Feb 18th as well). Meanwhile I squeeze in a kettlebell (KB)/strength/cardio workout. I did my 10 set challenge this morning, got KB and burpees at lunch and hope to do Zumba tonight.
