From what I understand about BodyFlex, you are getting very aerobic by doing the breathing. Then, when you add movement, you send oxygen to the muscles you're working. That's why it's good to do in your car where you can push against the steering wheel and work your biceps while you breathe. And when you're pushing a grocery cart in the parking lot, you can push real hard and maybe even jog with it, while you breathe.
And of course you can do any movements you want. Stay with it! You're really doing great!
Sure, I have even made up some of my own moves. I even use the Oxycise breathing technique but use the body flex moves. Oxycise is quieter and I can do it early in the morning without disturbing anyone and I can do it anywhere, even at my desk.
It is fine to mix up your routine and if it works for you, the more you will get out of it. Good luck!

Here is my plan please let me know if it's nuts! I want to do my Fluidity workout with the body flex breathing to skip having to do two workouts... has anyone successfully modified the breathing by doing it to other moves? if so please explain!
