Please keep us posted about your doing Oxycise! exclusively. I personally think that all these breathing exercises are some of the most important we can do.
I have learned that while many of us think about breathing deeper and getting more oxygen into our bodies. Something else is also happening with these exercises: we are exercising our diaphragms!!!!! It is important to get air OUT of our lungs in order to take oxygen INTO our lungs.

Hiya! I'm new here on the team although I've had Oxycise in my life for years. Have I done it consistently? No, of course not, that's why I'm seeking support! *grin*
I got really motivated to shape up a bit back on September and started working out 5-6 days a week with a pretty intense program that had me doing weight training 3x/week and cardio 2x/week (sometimes one extra day too). I started off by losing 5 pounds! And then... nothing. Not a darn thing. Harumph.
I've kept going but it's been hard because I'm not seeing results. I've decided to listen to that old adage, "Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results" (or something to that effect). I'm changing things up and going to Oxycise exclusively for a few weeks to see what - if anything - changes. I'm going to measure tomorrow morning and go from there. No weight tracking, I just don't feel that it is a good indicator of progress (and it depresses me, which is NOT helpful, lol!).
I am still not as faithful to Oxycise! as I want to be. Some days after work I just can't push myself to do 15 minutes, especially after having spent an hour walking through a grocery store. It was fun when my husband wanted to do it, but he twisted his lower back on one of the positions, and that laid him up for a week. Oh we are OLD!!! And not very active. I still believe in Oxycise! and want to get at least 3 times a week in. I sometimes look at a DVD I am not capable of doing and mitigate it for myself. With so many DVDs on my shelf I can play any of them and do my mitigated regime and not get bored.
