We're so glad to have you on our team! I am not very familiar with Body Flex, that is more SASSYCHRIS1952's thing. But, Oxycise! I can help you with. I don't do the "easy does it" series, I do the regular one. But, she is always saying that if an exercise feels uncomfortable just do the breathing, because breathing is key. And some of them she modifies for those who can't get on the floor. That's the regular series. I believe the "easy does it series" is geared more toward those who have limitations by health or injury. I have heard many good things about it. Oxycise! in itself is very low impact but burns more calories than an exercise bike. I love it! They also have great support! They have a Message Room where you can go to ask questions. That would be what I would recommend for you to do if your questions aren't answered on the website. I go to it from time to time myself. They are very friendly and you can tell that they really want us to succeed. I just joined SP today, and found this group and thought I would check it out.
I did BF a bunch of years ago (when there was only one workout) and did well with it, but then I got pregnant and had to stop. 4 kids later it is time to do something.
My biggest issue is that I am mildly disabled and unfortunately am not able to do much exercise. I have had 4 ankle surgeries, and still need another big one to realign it, and having a bad ankle has ruined my knee and hip as well. I have already had one small knee surgery, and will probably have to have a bigger one if we ever manage to fix my ankle. So almost all aerobic exercise is out. I was able to swim for a while, but then developed tendonitis in my shoulder so now can't swim either. I have always been a very active person so this has been very exasperating for me.
Anyway, in doing research to explore my exercise options, I remembered BF. In doing research on how it has changed, I came across Oxycise and think the "Easy Does It" program may be a good fit for me.
Does anyone do this program? Does anyone know if there is some way I can try it before buying (netflix doesn't have it)? Is there a better option for someone with my issues?
Welcome aboard, VRAIRY! This exercise is an oldie but goodie; I've had my tapes (VHS) since 1993 & after years got back into it. Stick to it my friend & you will see results again. It's a great way to jump-start the day. All the best, Chris

I did this program about 10 years ago and went from a 14 to a 6/8. I had never been so small. I had another child, tried it again and it didn't work for me. I am trying it again with complete faith that it will work! I am on day 2, can't wait to see my measurements in a week or two!!!
