I have heard that food cravings only last a few min, so if I can keep myself busy and my mind off food the cravings will pass. If I am really hungry, then I reach for a healthy snack and then get busy.

It seems to be a never ending battle. Sometimes, for whatever reason, it is easier than others to keep control over your schedule, diet and life in general.

Sometimes I reach for food when I'm actually thirsty - I'm trying to reach for the waterbottle first - it does seem to help...happy weekend!

I tend to eat all day long, but I choose baby carrots, celery, sweet tomatoes, apples, etc.

Don't give up eating when things don't go your way. Eat the right stuff. You will feel better.

Hello, I have just joined Spark and am hoping to gain control of my eating habits. Now that I am getting older, I find it harder and harder to shed the pounds I used to shed so easily. I am an emotional eater, so hunger is not always my reason for eating. I am hoping with some support from others, and really paying attention to my eating, I will shed the weight I have gained and get back to liking my body.
