OK. I wondered, after I posted. When I looked in the SP SHOP, there was only a pedometer, not a heart monitor.

I went to amazon.com and found an Omron brand. I decided that, since I like their pedometer so much, I'd see if they also make a heart monitor. This is what I ordered:

OK; I have an OMRON pedometer, and I really like it. Won't use another brand. Nice to know they make a heart moniter too, and that you like it. Thanks!

SP has the Omron in their shop. It's the same one I use and I like it a lot. I notice it is on sale when I checked the shop yesterday. You can also order it from Amazon.

Hope this helps.

I don't like exercise much, and, often, I've just done nothing. I managed to lose 60 pounds in a year with mostly dietary changes and very little exercise.

But, I've started exercising again. I always carried/wore a pedometer, even when I only record daily non-exercise steps.

Recently, I got out an old heart moniter/pulse moniter that I used many years ago. I ended up throwing it away for multiple "too-old" reasons. But, I'd like to purchase another one.

I'd preer one that is worn on the wrist. I want something fairly accurate, but i don't want to spend a fortune on it. Does anyone have a brand name/model, etc that you'd recommend?
