Have you thought about biking or using an exercise bike. They have upright and recumbant (siting down) ones. That may not put the stress on your hip and give you flexibility and cardio.
Do what works for your body and take things at your own pace.

Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
You will never "find" time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.
Hi all its been very difficult for me to walk and its made me sluggish! First off i have a hip issue and then the last 3 weeks I've had terrible cracked bleeding heels due to dermatitis and eczema. That aside the heels are so much better and i can at last put my feet to the floor. Just got to get the hip sorted now. I managed a better walk yesterday but today the hip hurts. Shame because i was doing so well.
Onwards and upwards though!!!!

safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"
