I celebrate loss with a reward. The trick is that if the reward is a physical thing, I can't use it if the weight comes back on. Celebrating with the actual loss is an affirmation that you will continue to lose.
It is important to also reward the behaviors that bring us to a healthier lifestyle (i.e. walking 100 miles, training and competing in a 5K even if you walk it, eating veggies 2 meals a day for three weeks, tracking your intake for 1 month, etc) Rewards for this acknowledge that developing healthy habits is the way to be successful.

I celebrate every pound I lose! I just re-lost the first 10 pounds I lost with Sparks (I gained back the weight I lost when I stopped logging into the nutrition-calorie logger.) I know when I lose a couple clothes sizes I'll be celebration with some new clothes!
