Thanks for the encouragement, everyone.

7 lbs lost (1st 5 weeks: July - Aug),
7 lbs gained (2nd 3 weeks: Aug - Sept),
14 lbs lost (10 more weeks: Sept - Nov)

I have two important events that I'm trying to lost weight for next summer:
- My daughter is getting married in May.
- I'm attending/planning a 30 year reunion. I haven't seen most of these people since I weighed 105 lbs., long before I had MS and gained so much weight due to years of meds.

Just keep doing the best you can with exercising. If walking is not for you, maybe you can do strength training with bands. You will have your ups and downs so don't worry about it. You're doing good. emoticon

It is great you have been able to lose with all the medication.

When I joined this team, a number of years ago, my goal was often 8,000 - 10,000 steps per day.

Since then, my multiple sclerosis affects my stamina much more than it used to. I can't walk for more than 20 minutes at a time without being absolutely exhausted. And, even at that, it's a slow walk. Most days, although I wear a pedomoter, I don't choose to walk for exercise, and only attain 1000 - 3000 steps.

I haven't really set new goals. I don't enjoy exercising. And, although at times, I haven't hated walking for exercise, it seems that I dislike any exercise now, including walking.

I know that I should set an attainable goal for myself, regarding how long, or, how far, to walk daily. But, I just can't seem to motivate myself to do that.

I re-committed myself to SparkPeople in July, and, in spite of a round of steroids in September (during which, in 3 weeks, I gained back all the weight I'd lost in the previous 5 weeks), I stayed on track and have been losing weight, even with no or minimal exercise.
