I walked there and back again today but will admit the previous two weeks I drove there because of the heat (and humidity).
It's only a .4 of a mile from me but I did drive then.
Will walk (unless pressed for time) there when weather permits.

I should probably start walking to church, too. We don't live that far away, and church starts late enough for me to be able to walk if I get up at a decent time. Thanks for the inspiration to do so! emoticon

Way to go! I love taking a walk with a goal or purpose in mind -- the corner store, return library books, buy a loaf of bread, etc.

Good for you! Wish I could do the same, but I am not into 15 miles in 106 degree heat! emoticon

WOW, emoticon for all of you for walking to church. I live a bit far away to do that and I would hate to be all hot and sweaty.

I live about a mile from church and when the weather is good, I like to walk. I take an umbrella so I don't get too much sun and wear comfortable shoes, but it is a great way to think and relax.

I walked to church and back this morning. My church is about a 1-2 min. drive from my house.
It was aprox. 10 min. walk each way. Glad the weather was nice enough to do it.
Only problem was that I should have left the house soon as I missed practicing the song that choir (which I'm in) was going to sing today. It worked out anyway.
At least I got there before the service started. emoticon
