Lorraine An attitude of gratitude makes all the difference. According to aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly. Its body weight is not the right proportion to its wingspan. Ignoring these laws, the bee flies anyway.

here are some words to ponder on......
hope this helps....

Try.

Try again.
Try harder.
Try tomorrow.
Try thinking about what has worked in the past.
Try and ask someone who has done it.
Try and figure out what is not working.
Try it a different way.
Try it once more.
Don't stop trying!

I used to think that people always left when they 'disappeared'. Some people register and never really get going. Some give up. Some... create altogether new names and pages instead of just changing their names when they re-start after a slip, too. But the idea I like most is that folks meet their goals and move onward!

As for me, so far I keep finding new goals. Nope, haven't reached a Great Weight Goal, but have met so many more goals that were even more important.

Looks like there are only 235 member left with some Spark (points) this year out of 16,000+ members.... Numbers will continue to dwindle as goals are met and life's events move us on.

Ahhh how silent the threads are now, as team members go about their journeys elsewhere. Yes, the team is in many ways 'defunct' since members are no longer new or a 'class', but reunions of members who start together can be great, so I keep posting from time to time to be sure folks know I'm here if needed.

I am not back full time yet, I still have a surgery on my GI track to go through. I was wondering if this team is still together and if Grandma Sam was still a part of it.

Aloha!

I'm now in HI and enjoying the weather, the quiet of my son and d-in-l's home...and RELAXING! It's a joy. I'm walking more, stretching more, and enjoying being in charge of the meals! I'd never have suspected that Kitchen Detail would be a joy, but it is; my son and d-in-l had asked that I take over meal planning and preparation to help them have healthier meals! Yup, they don't know it but ...they are Sparking too!

My absence leaves me in the dark and I have a question to ask everyone: How is everyone doing?

Happy New Year
- Author Unknown

If it didn't bring you joy
just leave it behind
Let's ring in the New Year
with good things in mind
Let every bad memory
that brought heartache and pain
And let's turn a new leaf
with the smell of new rain
Let's forget past mistakes
making amends for this year
Sending you these greetings
to bring you hope and cheer
Happy New Year!

wishing you all the blessings of 2010
may all that you wish for be yours

blessings and hugs.............lita
