I always have bananas frozen in mine. LOL.

This is from a friends blog.

It's delicious by the way and you can adjust the flavor as you like. Good use for getting older bananas too!

Morticia - I was glued to an infomercial the other day that was for a product that turns frozen bananas into ice cream, it was called Yonanas. I think I need that in my life! First time I almost bought something from an infomercial!

peanut butter and bananas are good. I don't like bananas much but my M.D. insists I can eat one a day so I found that I love them frozen. I put them in my yogurt that way and like it. It's almost like ice cream. LOL.

You've come to the right place, because the ladies here always give the BEST advice!

And for something else to go with the peanut butter, I LOVE it spread on a banana. Which is so bizarre because I don't really love bananas, and I don't love peanut butter, but put them together and it is amazing!

Good luck!

Most of us in the group learn a lot by the responses of others. I was always told rice cakes were good for you years ago but they obviously convert to sugar quickly. I love peanut butter stuffed celery. emoticon Keep asking questions. We are here to help.

Holy cow I didn't know that about the rice cakes! It makes sense though. I just checked and they are a 77! And I am eating two a day. Well, guess those are gone. I will eat peanut butter on celery instead. Thanks for the responses. :)

I would totally nix the rice cakes - they are very high on the glycemic index.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. It's kind of hard because the only two meats I really like are turkey bacon and chicken, so I have a hard time figuring out what to eat at every meal. Oh well, I will figure it all out eventually. At least I'm not gaining weight I guess, lol!

Honestly you are eating too many grains/starches. Most folks can't eat more than one serving per day and still lose weight. This is why we encourage folks to read the phase 1.5 writeup since what you are doing is following how the book describes adding in multiple servings. Doesn't work for ohhh 98% of the folks...ever.

Just from your sample menu, you are eating 4 servings of grains/starches. If you have been doing this regularly, cut them back to two servings and see if you can start losing. Otherwise I would say back to a single serving on a daily basis (heck some folks end up rotating in days of p1 eating in order to continue to lose) and see what happens.

Hi everyone. I am currently in phase 2. I did phase 1 for about 2 1/2-3 weeks and did well. I have lost a total of about 16 lbs (started at 180, down to 164), but I have been stuck at the same weight for like 2 weeks! I am not eating anything bad, so I am really confused. Sample menu:

Breakfast-1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal or egg beaters and 2 slices turkey bacon
Snack - low carb kroger yogurt
Lunch - Salad with Balsamic Vinagrette or High Fiber soup
Snack - two low sodium rice cakes with about 2tbs omega 3 natural peanut butter
Dinner - Grilled chicken breast, brown/wild rice, steamed broccoli or cauliflower
Dessert (if I have it at all) sugar free pudding

Help!!
