When I was in Phase 1 and super-low carb, I went through withdrawals. I had a headache and I felt nauseous. I was not eating beans, so my fibre was low and so were my carbs. It only lasted a few days. I think its common for people who are having a radical diet change. For me, SB was a big change after the junk I'd been eating.

MY MANTRA: "Do good, live healthy and become significant!"
No not everyone gets a headache! I didn't - it honestly depends on how many carbs (and sugars) (and caffeine) you ingested prior to the diet...and how much carbs you are taking in during phase 1. Most folks find that if they are sitting at 100 gms of carbs, they usually don't get any symptoms of the SB "flu". That number truly is dependent upon the person - some folks are more sensitive to the changes.
I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. Agatha Christie ----------------------- Kierae
