I have gotten in the habit of eating an apple or some berries for snack. Sometimes even some veggies. I have gotten in the habit of not junk fooding it. I love what spark has done for my eating habits. It's great! :) I feel healthier and I'm starting to look better as wekk. I've even lost 5 pounds. My hubby says I look GREAT and lookin better!! :)
I think, like some have implied, it is not a matter of learning not to snack; it is learning to plan your snacks and making them healthy snacks. Fruit and veggie snacks are great but you can eat just about anything if you eat it planfully. It is the spontaneous snacking that usually does us in.

I always make sure I take water with me, but also a healthy portable snack....like an apple, orange, granola bar, or little ziploc of trail mix.....If I don't I will hit the student union every time and grab a cinnamon roll or cheesesticks.....I always take a sandwich or leftovers for lunch to avoid this same food trap....hope this helps.
