I'm new as well, and in the same boat as most of you-just looking to lose some weight annnd pass my classes. = )
This is my second time at school, the first time I gained a bunch of weight-mainly because I drank a lot, slept/watched tv/sat on my butt and didn't exercise. I lost most of that weight (except for the pesky last 10 pounds), but then headed back to school and gained a lot more than 10.
My advice for freshmen: exercise and don't binge drink every night. It's worth it, I swear!
The challenge this time around is that I'm trying really hard to excel in my classes. I'm in the library a lot, staying up late-not getting enough sleep, and always short on time-so I'm not eating very healthy. My goal is to get back in shape and learn to live healthier so that I can maintain my weight loss (the weight loss that hasn't happened yet!)
