I guess mine are sweets and carbs, but very specific items in those categories. Rice Krispies treats, pillsbury buttermilk biscuits (you know, the really great buttery flaky ones? i could eat the whole batch), and hershey's milk chocolate. I don't even like other types of chocolate, oddly enough i love the cheapest one. also haagen dasz (spelling?) coffee ice cream. i do eat the "light" version, but still 210 cals for 1/2 cup.

Unfortunately I am a sweet tea addict. And when I try to go without sweet tea, I'll either crave sweets or replace it with loads of sodium (in chips or fried foods). It's my biggest struggle at the moment, but I'm getting past it!

My posion is cadbury chocolate and cheese, once I start I can't stop. In Australia Cadbury have brought out Tiramisu chocolate....mmmmmmmm Tiramisu Chocolate! But I have had to give it up because it only comes in 250g blocks.

I love Haribo gummy bears, anything with cheese, pizza, burritos, bread! Erm... thats mostly it. During finals week I ate a lot of starbursts, the tropical ones. Bad for me but delicious at the time!

*Ashley, they have low-fat ice cream at Coldstone Creamery. Sweet Cream is one of them, and that's my favorite flavor, so it worked out well for me.

I don't have just one food that can take me down. I get really strong cravings for food categories, like Thai food or breakfast food. Going out to eat is a problem for me, because I hate cooking and my friends like to go out on weekends. Does anybody else have that problem? Any solutions?

Ice cream. From the cold stone creamery. You get french vanilla ice cream with heath bar, peanut butter cup, and almonds mixed in. Yum! Or I like to get a deep freeze ice cream from UDF with heath bar in it.

cookies, yes... that and CEREAL.. mmm some cereals are just TOO good with milk!! your subconcious just makes you reach for another bowl, and another... and then there's melt-in-your mouth sweet bread... especially the kind with lots of cinnamony sugar.. X___X and dark chocolate can't survive in front of me! =/

the best food in my school's caf is hands down the sweets...esp. the cake, ice cream, cookies and brownies....i DEFINATELY have a hard time tying to pass them up...and when its all you can eat...o geez..lol. Luckily next semester ill be off-campus and makin my own food...so happy temptation will be gone!

I just turned 21 in January and I love strawberry margeritas. That and mexican food is pretty good too. There is a place called El Rancherito by my college and the girls and I love going for mexican food and margeritas. I am hoping my next year I can cut down on that fun friday tradition.

the worst for me is all the alcohol calories i consume. I calculated i take in about 10 drinks a night about 4 nights a week at about 100 calories or more a piece. That is 4000 calories a week extra in alcohol! ugh.

I have a sweet tooth! I love Snickers (confession: I had one today) along with ice cream. I also like animal crackers which aren't too bad but there is like 250 cals a bag making them a pretty substantial snack.

i love pop-tarts, but only the strawberry ones...i used to eat them every day when i was younger and stick-thin, but then i hit puberty and...yeah. can't do that anymore. also, peanut butter -- i know it's healthy, but it's so high-calorie and high-fat, and you can eat it on almost anything.

I definitely go for starchy, carb heavy foods, such as breads, pasta, potatoes. I also have a MAJOR sweet tooth. I drink coffee as well...though it's definitely not black. The closest thing to black my coffee ever is is with cream and sugar...lots of sugar. But usually I have mochas, whether home-made (coffee and hot chocolate packets) or store bought. I've been trying to cut down on the store bought version, and so far I haven't bought one. emoticon I also tend to do the microwaveable mac & cheese and soups. Who really wants to eat salad all the time?

Anything that's packed with carbs, for sure. I'm a sucker for breads, pastas, any sort of starchy food.

Alcohol is another one of mine too. I don't drink as often as the people I live with, but when I do, I drink a _lot_, and it all adds up, I'm sure.

I would have to say alcohol is a big culprit. Not that I'm an lush or anything, but I enjoy drinking with friends on the weekend and the cals really add up fast!!

Strictly speaking of food, I guess I would say... Tater tots. My local grocery store has these giant 5 lb bags of store brand tots for sooo cheap, they're quick and easy to make, and they're just delicious slathered in ketchup.

People tell me they like my profile picture because it makes them laugh

The snacks we eat at work.
I work with elementary school kids in an afterschool educational program. We feed them "healthy" snacks every day, which are moderate-calorie, nutrient-dense foods. Because those kids need more energy, right?
Anyway, we do a lot of those Natural Foods granola bars that have like, 300cal per, and lots of sugary juices.
I'm supposed to eat with the kids. So I end up consuming about 14g of extra fat every day at work. I have a really hard time factoring that into my diet plan. I forget, you know? Lots of things going on.

So, what's your downfall when it comes to eating healthier? For some people, it's soda, others it is deep fried foods, etc. Mine's anything with over 10 grams of added sugar. You know, the type that's best for you. :P
