I like topic #2 because personally, I think it's the most interesting out of all of the topics. I thin it's interesting how a character's psychology and development can contribute heavily to a theme or themes. Most students will probably choose #4. The advice that you should really follow is to do whichever topic you are the most comfortable with and that you find the most interesting. :)

Hi, I have another writing assignment. So could you help me choose my topic again. She is allowing us to choose our own topic, but I'm going to use hers. The work is Emily Bronte’s WutheringHeights.

1. Is this novel more typical of the Romantic Period or the Victorian Period?

2. Trace Cathy’s character development; how does this development contribute to the theme of the novel?

3. How is Heathcliff a descendent of the Byronic hero?

4. Analyze the nature of the love Heathcliff and Cathy share.

Thanks for helping me.
