I think you should at least give you a little prize for reaching your goal-that way you have motivation to keep hitting your other goals. You can make the first few rewards small & build up the more you lose.
I used to give myself mini rewards for every 10 pounds but I have now switched to 30, 40 and 50 pounds range.
