Hi all, I'm new here. My exercise personality is "grim determination". Most of my life I didn't like exercise and avoided it. I joined this group to learn how to have fun and play and get exercise at the same time.

Based on the Rodale article I'm a "Functional Fitness", based on the Quinn quiz I'm a "Self motivator" although I'd question that title if it weren't for the fact that other two types don't really fit nearly as well.
Research shows if you enjoy an exercise/activity then you are more likely to make it part of your lifestyle. And for long term health, an active lifestyle is more important to establish than pushing for a 30-minute workout every day for a year.
