so far so good with the gym, i go tues thurs and sat after work....sometimes i dont feel like going but as soon as i leave work i can see the gym across the street so I end up going lol
i think this just might work....of course check back with me in a month lol
the people there showed me a good place to start and yes starting slow only lifting 20 to 30 pounds for now then in about a mnth gonna increase it by 5 lbs....i have had torn muscles and i know how sore u can get and how if u do u dont want to keep going

When I first started going to the gym, I would just walk on the treadmill. After a week or so, I hired a personal trainer for just a few sessions (i couldn't afford too many sessions). She showed me how to use the equipment and what to be doing. it really helped. Someone at the gym should be able to show you around. :-) Good luck!
There should be a trainer that gives you some ideas. If not ask one of the others there where you should begin. They should have some idea of the equipment and how strenuous the exercises are. Remember start slowly! You can always add more but very sore muscles or an injury is going to defeat you more than help you! Blessings on your new journey! Daddy'sGirl
